Textile work for Parcelle Wine's restaurant space in Greenwich Village, New York.
For the space, Claire designed the walls of the dining room. Covering the main wall is a mural of linen standing at 200 inches wide and 98 inches tall. Hand-painted and hand-installed, the piece features 128 different objects, each representing a person in her life who has made an impact on her.
The other two walls of the dining room are covered in large format paintings, made using the same materials. These two supplementary paintings are titled, "The Women of Parcelle", and are hand-painted depictions of her two dearest friends. The pieces were inspired by paintings she had in her room as a child. Each painting stands at 97 inches tall.
Additionally, she designed the walls of the bathroom. The design is hand-painted using watercolor dyes. The design was then scanned into Photoshop and put into a seamless repeat. Digitally printed on industrial grade wallpaper, the pattern covers the walls and the ceiling of the bathroom.
